Update September 2016
Very sadly, the Government has decided that the mandatory SKN Courses will no exist anymore in future. But for now, all these courses are still mandatory until the new law is set. The mandatory courses, which are in place for Canton of Zurich will remain. Read more.
Mandatory Course for Breed type I. Do you have a dog from the breed type I list? Then please read here, if you need to visit a „Junghunde-Course“ or a „Erziehungs-Course“ and how many lessons they should take. Nevertheless, these courses shouldn’t just be seen as duty for the governmental agency, but as something positive and some quality time with your four-legged friend.
The Junghunde-Course should help build and foster the social knowledge of your dog in respect to humans, other dogs and any other daily challenges. The Erziehungs-Course should build on those basics and further improve depth. This means, that the knowhow scope is larger than the basic SKN practical course. Small dogs of other breeds are therefore also welcomed to join! One is not too small to learn big things.
Junghunde- & Erziehungs-Course at amicanis
